I got my first taste of the world outside of Edmonton, Canada, when I was 16 and as a family went on sabbatical to the UK. That year changed my life! Since then I have spent a large part of my life travelling here and abroad. In fact, it has become a passion and a curiosity! Who wouldn't want to explore and experience the world around them! My travel experiences over the past 25 years include – Galapagos Islands, Amazon, Peru, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, Europe, South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, South East Asia, China, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Trans Siberian Railway, Southern Africa, West Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey, overland across the Sahara Desert, Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda and more……. I have over 12 years experience working in the travel industry and I love to share my passion with others.

I was born and raised in Scotland and inherited
the travel bug from my adventurous parents. My
childhood was full of trips throughout Europe (including
Iceland and Greenland) and the Middle East (Egypt,
Turkey and Tunisia.)
Since moving to Canada and becoming a travel
agent, I have been fortunate to visit Australia
and New Zealand, Vietnam, China, Mongolia, Peru,
Dubai and Mauritius, as well as throughout the
USA and Hawaii.
So far my favourite places are the amazing Cu
Chi Tunnels of Vietnam, incredible Machu Picchu
and the white sand beaches of Australia’s east
coast. Next stop Africa!

I am a Vancouverite born and raised. I was first bitten by the travel bug on a trip to Southern Spain, for Expo ’92 and since then have traveled across our beautiful country from coast to coast, ventured down the western states, lived in the UK, toured around western Europe, explored the markets of Bangkok and Singapore, enjoyed the succulent fruit of Hawaii, was confused by the two currencies of Cuba and sipped apple tea while listening to the calming chants of Turkey.
My favorite place so far is without a doubt Turkey. The markets, the people, the landscape, the architecture… it is unlike anything I have ever seen. If you have not been it is a must for everyone’s list.
